Chairman of the Data Ethics Laboratory Richard A. Novak spent two weeks in Israel in a program organized by the International Visegrad Fund. It included a fact-finding tour of accelerators, VC funds, universities and intensive training with lecturers.
On 9-11 September 2022, members of the Data Ethics Laboratory participated in the German conference Wittenberg 2022 in the section Strukturwandel und öffentlicher Diskurs. Attendance was abundant and discussions fruitful.
On September 7-9, 2022, members of the Data Ethics Lab participated in the IDIMT 2022 conference with their papers. We had an interesting discussion and made contacts that we will use in the future.
Members of the Data Ethics Laboratory participated in the Ethics in the 21st Century conference organized by the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on 23-24 June. We met interesting people and discussed ethical issues of the 21st century.
As part of the foreign trip, the DEL representative participated in an international workshop on topics related to information ethics, systems science and transdisciplinarity. The workshop took place in the Spanish cities of León and Madrid.

The DEL team won second place in the national round of The European Ethics Bowl. Congratulations.
Our laboratory has established cooperation with the Faculty of Transportation of CTU and we are jointly submitting a TACR grant Application of AI approaches for predictive diagnostics of ITS technological devices. The lab will oversee ethics and compliance with ethical principles of data collection, data processing and data distribution.
